Almaguin Highlands Community Trails
Check out the Almaguin Highlands Community Trails and enjoy various activities all year round. The trails are located adjacent to Almaguin Highlands Secondary School at 21 Mountainview Road and are open for everyone to use, please respect the environment while using the trails.

Snowmobiling
The Township of Strong and surrounding area is prime for snowmobiling in the winter months. To access information regarding snowmobiling in the area please visit the Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs website and the Near North Snowdrifters website or like them on Facebook to follow them. If you require parking for your vehicle and snowmobile trailer we request that you don't use the SSJ Arena parking lot, as this is required for customer parking at the facility. The Township of Strong provides parking with direct access to the trails, located adjacent to the Public Works Garage and Municipal Office on the road allowance located at entrance of 10191 Highway 124. Please follow the signage at the location or refer to the Near North Snowdrifters map, we ask that you do not park inside the gates in the Public Works area.
