The Fire Rating is currently Extreme - Total Fire Ban

Total Fire Ban

All fire permits have been suspended and will resume once the rating has been reduced to moderate or lower. 

No open air burning and no camps fire allowed.

If you are aware of any open air burning call 911 immediately and report the location.

 

Road Emergencies

The Public Works Dept are currently out fixing many washouts due to the heavy rainfall that we have experienced. Some areas still have high water levels, and will remain closed in spots.
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DRIVE THROUGH A WASHOUT, AROUND BARRICADES OR TRAFFIC CONES – TURN AROUND AND FIND AN ALTERNATE ROUTE. DO NOT ACTIVELY SEEK OUT WASH OUT AREAS TO FILM AND TAKE PICTURES
Please report any issues by leaving a message, with location detail, to 705-840-0360
The following roads are currently closed (with detour/turnaround)
Adams Road (Between #465 and #567)
Albert St. S. (Between Victoria and Sunset Dr)
Kent’s Mill Road (Township of Joly’s portion after the bridge)

While many key repairs have already been completed elsewhere in the Township, crews are continuing to work hard to address remaining issues. Please be patient — full recovery will take time over the coming weeks.
