The Township of Strong is experiencing numerous washouts and flooding in multiple locations due to spring thaw and recent rainfall, with potentially more rain in the forecast. Our Public Works crew is working hard and monitoring conditions, addressing the most highly impacted areas first.
The following roads are impassable due to high water – Adams Road (between #720 and #784); Pevensey Road at Kent’s Mills Road; Rodeo Road at Brookside Road intersection; Rodeo Road at #771 Closed; South Lake Bernard Road near Northridge Inn. Hill Valley Road and Union Street still remain closed
Water is rising hourly so please use caution!
