Road Emergencies

The Public Works Dept are currently out fixing many washouts due to the heavy rainfall that we have experienced. Some areas still have high water levels, and will remain closed in spots.
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DRIVE THROUGH A WASHOUT, AROUND BARRICADES OR TRAFFIC CONES – TURN AROUND AND FIND AN ALTERNATE ROUTE. DO NOT ACTIVELY SEEK OUT WASH OUT AREAS TO FILM AND TAKE PICTURES

The following roads are currently closed (with detour/turnaround)
Adams Road (Between #465 and #567)
Albert St. S. (Between Victoria and Sunset Dr)
Kent’s Mill Road (Township of Joly’s portion after the bridge)

While many key repairs have already been completed elsewhere in the Township, crews are continuing to work hard to address remaining issues. Please be patient — full recovery will take time over the coming weeks.

Road Closure - Fall Fair Parade

September 09, 2025

The following road closures will take place on Saturday September 13, 2025 from 9:30 am to 11:30 am for the Strong Agricultural Society Fall Fair Parade:

  • Main St from Highway 124 to Albert St
  • Albert St South at Main St
  • Albert St North from Highway 124 to the SSJ Arena entrance
