Being a By-law to prescribe a Tariff of Fees

WHEREAS Section 392, 394 (1) (2) and 400 of the Municipal Act, 2001 provides that the Council of a municipality may by by-law prescribe a tariff of fees.

NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF STRONG DOES HEREBY ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

1. The following is the Fee Schedule for General Government Charges for services:

a) Shore Road Allowance Closure and Conveyance Administration fee $250.00

b) Tax Certificates declaration – administration fee $ 30.00

c) Building/Zoning Compliance Letter – Administration Fee $ 30.00

d) Faxing of Documents/Letters – per page charge of $ 3.00

e) Photocopy of Previous minutes of meetings – per page charge of $ 1.00

f) Photocopy of current minutes of meetings – per page charge of $ .25

g) Photocopy of any material presented – per page charge of $ .25

h) Photocopy of any material presented – per page charge over 10 pages $ .15

i) Replacement Land Fill Cards – one per household – per card charge $ 8.00

j) Replacement Blue Boxes – as they are available – per box charge $ 8.00

k) Refrigerator Disposal Tags – or any appliance containing freon $ 25.00

l) NSF cheque returned by the bank is an automatic charge of $ 20.00

m) Businesses who link up with the Township Web site – annual fee of $ 25.00

2. The by-law shall be in full force on the date of final enactment and shall be Posted in the Municipal Office Foyer for Public Inspection

3. By-law #93 – 1301 is hereby repealed.
