Be it resolved that this Council does hereby approve attendance at the April 10th workshop for Emergency Pandemic training and table top exercise for 9 staff and council @ $10.50 per person = $94.50  Carried

Be it resolved that this Council does hereby approve office closure for April 6th Election training and April 10th Emergency training.  Carried

 

Correspondence was read from MNR; Ontario Federation of Anglers & Hunters re:  Sunday Hunting: Culvert Tender results;

Northern Ont. School of Medicine formalizes partnership with North Bay General Hospital; Academy of Sport & Recreation; Transportation funding; new Fines for speeding;  Request for consent for a lot that has merged; Susan Church – NCIR project;

Be it resolved that this council does hereby approve payment of the invoice from Carl Minor in the amount of $45.80 Carried

Be it resolved that this council does hereby approve payment of the invoice to cover the deficit of the Sundridge & District Medical Centre in the amount of $11,022.11 being 50%        Carried

Be it resolved that this council does hereby approve payment of  the balance of the 2005 fire budget $13,844.17 Carried  / Pg 2

Be it resolved that this Council does hereby authorize the following to attend the Parry Sound Municipal Assoc. meeting at South River on May 1st at a cost of $20 per person:  S Rawn; J Newstead; C Ellis; S Harper; D Georgie; S Sohm; L Wren CD

Be it resolved that this Council does hereby approve the quote for Dust Suppressant @ $480 per tonne from Wamco Group Sudbury for 80 – 1 tonne bags.  Carried

Be it resolved that this Council does hereby approve and authorize the Roads Department to purchase a new computer from Dell per quote of Mar.27.06 for $1767.37 Carried

Be it resolved that this council does hereby approve and authorize the lots at Con 2 Lot 13 and Lot 14 be separated by way of the consent process.  Carried

Be it resolved that this Council does hereby approve a donation to the Almaguin Highlands Secondary School Graduation Awards program in the amount of $100        Carried

Be it resolved that this Council does hereby adjourn at 8:15 pm to meet again on April 11th 2006 at 5:30pm or at the call of council.  Carried
