Be it resolved that this council does hereby adopt the following minutes as circulated:

Council meeting of October 12th 2004

Almaguin Recycling meeting of Sept. 16th 04

Sundridge & District Medical Centre meeting of October 5th 2004

Sundridge – Strong Recreation meeting of October 7th 2004

Sundridge Strong Joly Arena meeting of September 29th 2004                                        Carried

Be it resolved that this council does hereby approve payment of the final 2004 levy for the Arena in the amount of $18,344 CD

 

Letter of request from Joly Township for Winter sand and winter maintenance.  Dave  Pringle to respond.

Be it resolved that this council does hereby approve payment to the New North Bay Regional Health Centre Project as follows:

$7500 per year for the next 10 years – 2005 to 2014.                Carried

Be it resolved that this council does hereby give second reading to the Procurement by-law    Carried

Be it resolved that this council does hereby give second reading to the Land Fill Fee by-law    Carried

 

Letter for a proposed severance reviewed – letter to be sent to land owner.  Letter of request for a per capita contribution – denied.  A Letter from South River re:  Study for Recreation “Communities in Action Fund”  Council could not support another study on Recreation for $20,000.  Letter from Ministry of Natural Resources re:  installation of a guage house at Bernard Lake Dam.

Be it resolved that this council does hereby authorize the MNR to install the water guage sensor on the Municipal property at Bernard Lake Dam and at no charge to the MNR, however the Township of Strong requests that shrubs be planted to screen  the unit and that the unit be painted when requested by the Township of Strong.   Carried

 

No one attended the Public Meeting to stop up, close and convey the Original Lake Shore Road as advertised.

Be it resolved that this council does hereby enact by-law 2004 – 1491 being a by-law to stop up, close and convey to the adjoining owner, part of the Original Shore Road Allowance fronting the property at Con 4 Lot 15, Plan M69, Lot 1 more particularly described as Part 1 and 2, Plan 42R16823.                Carried.

Be it resolved that this council does hereby approve payment of the Maintenance fee for Computer hardware and software for 2004 in the amounts of $52.51 and $351.72   Carried

 

Shawn Eddison – Chris Ellis

Be it resolved that this council does hereby approve payment of the maintenance fee for computer hardware and software for 2005 in the amounts of $315.06 and 2110.32 and that the contract by signed for this service.  Carried

 

Chris Ellis – Sally Harper

Be it resolved that this council does hereby authorize Lillian Fowler, Clerk of the Village of Sundridge and the Mayors of the Village of Sundridge, and the Townships of Strong and Joly to sign the Agreement between the Municipalities and the Ministry of Health for the Primary Care Nurse Practioner Program.                Carried

 

Scott McLaren – Sally Harper

Be it resolved that this council does hereby authorize Lillian Fowler, Clerk of the Village of Sundridge to sign the Community Sponsored Contract for General Family Physicians between Dr. Sarah MacKinnon and the Village of Sundridge, and the Townships of Strong and Joly.  Carried

Be it resolved that this council does hereby adjourn at 9:40 pm to meet again on November 9th 2004 at 5:30 pm or at the call of the Mayor.   Carried
