BEING a By-law to enter into a Mutual Assistance Agreement with the

Corporation of the Township of Joly and the Corporation of the Village of Sundridge

The Corporation of the Village of South River and the Corporation of the Township of Machar

WHEREAS Section 13.(3) of the Emergency Management and Civil Protection Act, RSO 1990 c E.9. provides that the Council of a Municipality may make an agreement with the council of another municipality for the provision of any personnel, service, equipment or material during an Emergency.

NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF STRONG DOES HEREBY ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

1. That the Township of Strong does hereby deem it expedient to enter into a Mutual Assistance Agreement with the Township of Joly; the Village of Sundridge; the Village of South River and the Township of Machar to provide any personnel, services, equipment or material during an Emergency.

2. That the Mayor and the Clerk are hereby authorized to execute the documents

by signature and seal of the Corporation of the Township of Strong.
