The CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF STRONG

BY-LAW 2007  -  1555

 

BEING a by-law to adopt the Procurement Policy

For the purchase of goods and services

 

 

WHEREAS Section 270 (1) (3) of the Revised Municipal Act 2001 requires all municipalities to adopt and maintain policies for the Procurement of goods and Services;

 

AND WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Strong has established policies to govern the procurement of goods and services dated January 1st 2005 with detailed policies under by-law 1492 ;

 

NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Strong DOES HEREBY ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

 

  1. That the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Strong does hereby continue to use the established procurement of goods and services policy dated Jan.1.2005 under by-law 1492.
  2. That the Mayor and Clerk are hereby given the authority to sign the by-law
  3. That the effective date of the Procurement for Goods and Services Policy is January 1st 2005
