The CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF STRONG

BY-LAW 2007 - 1554

BEING a by-law to adopt the Hiring Policy dated January 1^st 2005

For the Hiring of employees

WHEREAS Section 270 (1) (2) of the Revised Municipal Act 2001 requires all municipalities to adopt and maintain policies for the Hiring of Employees;

AND WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Strong has established policies to govern the hiring of employees dated January 1^st 2005;

NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Strong DOES HEREBY ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

1. That the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Strong does hereby continue to use the established hiring policy dated January 1^st 2005 as our “Hiring of Employees Policy”
2. That the Mayor and Clerk are hereby given the authority to sign the by-law
3. That the effective date of the Hiring Policy is January 1^st 2005
