LAW #2007 1553
WHEREAS the Municipal Act, 2001 Section 168 authorizes the Municipality to pass by-laws
for the licensing of Trailers in the Municipality.
NOW THEREFORE THE
COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF STRONG DOES HEREBY ENACT AS
FOLLOWS:

Prohibition
a. No
Person shall use, or locate a trailer within the Municipality for 30 days or
longer in any year except in a trailer camp operated or licensed by the
Municipality, unless such person has first obtained a license therefore under
the provisions of this by-law
3.
General
a. No
License shall be issued under this by-law if the application for license or the
proposed undertaking by the applicant would be in contravention of any other
by-law of the Corporation or of any Federal or Provincial Law or Regulation.
4.
Penalty
Any Person who contravenes or fails to comply with any of the
provisions of this by-law shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable to
the fine and penalties prescribed by the Provincial Offences Act. Each day of contravention shall constitute a
separate offence.
TRAILER BY-LAW
5.
Validity
If any provision of this by-law is for any reason
declared by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, the same shall not
affect the validity of the by-law as a whole, or any part thereof other than
the provision so declared to be invalid and it is hereby declared to be the
intention that all the remaining provisions of this by-law shall continue to be
in full force and effect until repealed, notwithstanding that one or more
provisions thereof shall have been declared to be invalid.

Effective Date This by-law shall
come into effect on the 1st
day of January,
2008.
By-law
#2004 - 1489 is hereby repealed.
