Be it resolved that this council does hereby appoint Chris Ellis as presiding officer for the council meeting Carried

Be it resolved that this Council does hereby adopt the following minutes of meetings as circulated:

Be it resolved that this Council does hereby approve the cost of $1240.40 plus taxes from Lakeland Energy to install a street light on High St. Carried

Vi Montpetit - Merlyn Snow

Be it resolved that this Council does hereby accept the recommendation of the Joint Building Committee to cover the difference from the Employment Insurance to the CBO’s current wages for the duration of short term disability which is up to 119 days after sick days are used. Carried

Merlyn Snow – John Newstead

Be it resolved that this Council does hereby accept the recommendation of the Sundridge Strong Joly Arena Committee that we amend Appendix B Classification List of the Township of Strong Salary Administration Program to change the job title of Assistant Arena Manager to Arena Attendant, with all duties to remain the same. Carried

Be it resolved that this Council does hereby amend Apprendix B Classification List of the Township of Strong Salary Administration Program to change the Job Title of Arena Labourer to Labourer with all duties to remain the same. Carried

John Newstead - Merlyn Snow

Be it resolved that this Council does hereby agree to give permission that the Road Allowance between Lot 15/16 at Con 10 be opened up for logging purposes as described in the letter dated October 17.07 from Howard Sinclair. After completion of logging the access will be blocked as an entry. All work carried out in the vicinity of the Township Road shall be kept clear of mud and other debris. Carried

Vi Montpetit - Merlyn Snow

Be it resolved that this Council does hereby approve payment to McLaren Builders in the amount of $71,692.68 being a payment for the new storage building. Carried

There was no response to the ad in the paper to sell the equipment trailer.

Be it resolved that this Council does hereby approve a pay adjustment rate as recommended in the Strong Salary Administration Program from Sep. 1 to Dec. 31 2007; year 2008; year 2009 and year 2010. Carried

John Newstead – Merlyn Snow

Be it resolved that this Council does hereby agree that the overtime fee paid to the Secretary Treasurer of the Planning Board shall be the same rate of pay stated in the pay equity plan effective Sep.1.07. Carried

Be it resolved that this Council does hereby adjourn at 8:30 pm to meet again on November 13^th 2007 at 5:30 pm or at the call of the Mayor. Carried
