The meeting opened with a blessing and reading from Rev. Steve May

Be it resolved that this Council does hereby hold the Inaugural Meeting of the Council for the term Dec. 1/06 to Nov. 30 2010

Each Council member read off the Provincial Oath and then the Township of Strong Oath and each was commissioned by the Clerk

Be it resolved that this Council does hereby make the appointments to Committee/Boards:

Almaguin Recycling Initiatives:  Vi Montpetit and Scott McLaren, Alternate

Blue Sky Committee:  Vi Montpetit

Central Almaguin Planning Board:  Stephen Rawn

Central Almaguin Economic Development:  Stephen Rawn and Chris Ellis

Strong Emergency Committee:  Chris Ellis

High Rock Lookout Committee:  Merlyn Snow and Vi Montpetit, Alternate

Joint Building Committee:  Chris Ellis and Scott McLaren, Alternate

Lake Bernard Shoal Marker Committee:  Stephen Rawn

Strong Land Fill Committee:  Scott McLaren and Vi Montpetit

Provincial Offences Committee:  Merlyn Snow and Stephen Rawn, Alternate

Strong Roads Committee:  Stephen Rawn and Chris Ellis

South River & District Airport Committee:  Merlyn Snow and Vi Montpetit, Alternate

Sundridge & District Medical Centre Committee:  Chris Ellis and Scott McLaren

Sundridge Strong Joly Arena Committee:  Stephen Rawn and Merlyn Snow, Alternate
