THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF STRONG

BY-LAW #2010-015 AS AMENDED

 

BEING a By-law to Stop up, Close and Convey to adjoining Owners

Part of the Abandoned Road Allowance within their property boundary.

 

WHEREAS The Council of the Corporation of the Township of Strong has deemed it expedient and in the interest of the Township of Strong hereinafter called the Township, and that the Original Shore Road Allowance be stopped up, closed and conveyed to the adjoining land owner(s) and as follows:

 

1.  Part of the Abandoned Road Allowance forming part of Block “C”, M-69 Township of Strong District of Parry Sound, and more particularly as Part of 52076-0166LT on a Plan of Survey deposited in the Office of Land titles at Parry Sound being Parts 2, 4 and 5 of Plan 42R19038, subject to a right of way over Part 5 and a right of way over Part 5 and a right of way over Parts 4 and 5 on Plan 42R19038.

 

 

AND WHEREAS notice of the proposed by-law was published in the Almaguin News published weekly in the District of Parry Sound on April 1, 2010 and April 15, 2010 as per Road Closing By-law Policies.

 

AND WHEREAS notice of the proposed by-law was posted up for at least a month in the most public place in the neighbourhood of the said roads;

 

NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF STRONG DOES HEREBY ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

1.         That upon and after the passing of this By-law all that portion of the Abandoned Shore Road Allowance as outlined above, in the Township of Strong, District of Parry Sound, be and the same, is hereby stopped up and closed and conveyed to the adjoining Land Owner subject to Parts 2,4, and 5 on the Plan as being a right of way of Part 5 and a right of way over Parts 4 and 5 on Plan 42R19038.
