BEING a By-law to enter into an Agreement with Her Majesty the Queen in

Right of Ontario as represented by the Deputy Premier and Minister of Energy and Infrastructure and the

Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs.

WHEREAS the Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs may enter into an agreement for the provision of Grants to Local Municipalities under Part II Section 22 (1) of the Municipal Act, 2001.

NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF STRONG DOES HEREBY ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

1. That the Township of Strong does hereby enter into an Agreement with the

Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs for the provision of a Grant in the amount of $66,666 which represents 66% of the total actual eligible expenditures for Project Number 1341; and

2. That the Township of Strong does hereby enter into an Agreement with the

Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs for the provision of a Grant in the amount of $233,332.00 which represents 66% of the total actual eligible expenditures for Project Number 2334

3. That the Mayor and the Clerk are hereby authorized to execute the documents

by signature and seal of the Corporation of the Township of Strong.
